It’s Moose Festival weekend! 🫎🐾
Kudo the Dog will be at the 36th Annual North Country Moose Festival on August 28–29, and we’re bringing a booth full of handmade dog gear, waterproof Biothane, custom collars, and on-site personalization.
If you’re a dog person, a North Country local, or just looking for something fun to do this weekend, Moose Festival is a pretty good excuse to get out and explore.
The festival takes place over two days and two locations: Friday in downtown Colebrook, NH, and Saturday at Canaan Rec Park in Canaan, VT. Friday is free, while Saturday admission is $5 and free for children under 12. (North Country Chamber of Commerce)

On-Site Collar & Dog Tag Personalization
One of the things we’re most excited to bring to Moose Festival is our on-site personalization.
You can pick out a collar and have it personalized while you’re at the festival.
We’ll also have custom dog name tags available, so you can get your dog’s name and contact information added to their gear.
It’s a great option if you’ve been meaning to replace that old collar, want something custom, or just think your dog deserves a new piece of gear.

Friday — Downtown Colebrook, NH
Friday’s Moose Festival is centered around Main Street in Colebrook from 3–8 PM.
There will be:

- Face painting
- Quilt show
- NH Fish & Game display
- NH State Police Canine Demonstration
- NH Fire Marshal display

So grab dinner, check out the vendors, see the cars, watch the parade, listen to some music, and come find us while you’re walking around town.
Saturday — Canaan Rec Park, Canaan, VT
Saturday moves across the river to Canaan Rec Park for the country fair from 10 AM–3:30 PM.
Saturday’s activities include:
- Artisan crafters

- Classic car show
- Moose Calling Contest
- Maple Tasting & Contest
- Axe Women Loggers of Maine
- Live music
- Train rides
- Dog Show
- Art Contest
- NH Fish & Game display
- Helicopter rides for an additional fee

Kudo the Dog is a small, handmade business built around dogs, adventure, and giving back.

We don’t mass-produce our products. We make them ourselves, choose our materials carefully, and bring them to events so you can actually see and feel the difference.
